Micro Heaters
Micro Heaters are economical heaters with high reliability, which can supply heat with very quick response. The heat generating part can be bent, wounded in a coil shape, soldered with silver alloy, or cast into a metal block.
The sheath material is stainless steel or NCF (equivalent to Inconel) with high heat/corrosion-resistance and a thin outer diameter so that the heater can be installed in complicated places with an extremely small amount of space.

Structure
Micro heaters consist of a heat generating part connecting a metal sheath with a linear heat generating body firmly filled with a highly-pure inorganic insulator (magnesium oxide, MgO), and are composed of a sleeve whose terminal is processed for humidity-proofing and of a lead wire so that the heat generating line is completely isolated from air and gas. Therefore, our heaters are less likely to be oxidized and corroded, have lonver product life, and is more economical with hifher heat efficiency than the ones with naked wires.
Features
Our micro heaters have the following features below.

1.Wider Application Range
Since the outer diameter is small, our heaters can be installed onto a small heating body. In addition, since the structure is a sheath type, our heaters are tolerant for high temperature and high pressure, and can be used for wide temperature range of -200 to 650℃.

2.Uniformity
Because we can manufacture a longer heat generating part than the ones of other heaters, wider range can be heated/pre-heated, providing effects similar to heating sheets.

3.Easier Handling
The minimum bending radius is 2.5 times longer than the outer diameter of the sheath. Our heaters can be easily installed in various places at a site.

4.Longer Product Life
Our heaters have a longer life since they are insulated and sealed with magnesium oxide, which is chemically stable, to alleviate insulation resistance deterioration and accidents of disconnection, etc.

5.Mechanical Strength/Pressure Resistance
Our heaters can be used even in the conditions of a place with vibration, corrosion atmosphere, etc.

6.Outer Diameter of Sheath Available
We can manufacture the outer diameter of the sheath of 1.0 to 8.0 mm.

Note)
- JIS support indicates JIS C3651. (JIS support does not include sheath material equivalent to Inconel.)
The testing value of the withstand voltage is 1,000 V/1 min. for the rated voltage of 150 V or lower, and 1,500 V/1 min. for over 150 V.
However, the voltage to ground is 300 V or lower.
If JIS support is required, please specify when needed. - Sheaths with Symbols A and G are not standard inventory items. Please check the delivery date when ordering.
- For products other than JIS support, if the heater is composed of one core its outer diameter is φ3.2 or more, a rated voltage of 440 V can be used.
- The sheath tip of the one-side terminal type micro heater is welded and sealed. If requested, the tip can be finished with the same diameter as the sheath.
