Okazaki Manufacturing Company’s main products are AEROPAK Sheathed Thermocouples, Protection Tube Type Thermocouples, RESIOPAK Sheathed Resistance Thermometer Sensors, Protection Tube Type Resistance Thermometer Sensors, Protection Tubes for Thermometers, Compensating Cables, Micro Heaters, Sheathed Heaters, and other product groups whose basic technology is MI Cables. They are used in various industries for measuring temperature and generating heat.
They play a role in various fields such as petrochemistry, electric power, gases, ships, fibers, semiconductors, foods, chemicals, aerospace, and automobiles.

Thermocouples

  • AEROPAK®Mineral Insulated Thermocouple

    The structure of AEROPAK is a thin tube (sheath) made of stainless steel or heat-resistant steel, a thermocouple element enclosed within the tube, and magnesium oxide of an inorganic insulator firmly packed around the element.

  • Protection Tube Type Thermocouples/Coated Thermocouples

    They are conventional thermocouples whose structure is to protect the elements of thermocouples from the atmosphere of measuring targets.
    Currently, sheathed thermocouples are more widespread than protection tube type thermocouples; however, for platinum based noble metal thermocouples, the protection tube type is more widespread than the sheathed type since with the sheathed type, manufacturing is difficult, and there is a limitation on costs.

Resistance Thermometer Sensors

  • RESIOPAK®Mineral Insulated Resistance Thermometer Sensor

    RESIOPAK is our trademark for sheathed resistance thermometer sensors.
    It consists of a stainless steel thin tube (sheath), a conducting wire, the element of the resistance thermometer sensor inside the tube, and an inorganic insulator (magnesium oxide, MgO) firmly packed and insulated around them.
    Various structures are available according to the purposes of use.

  • Protection Tube Type Resistance Thermometer Sensors

    They are conventional resistance thermometer sensors whose structure is to protect resistance elements from the atmosphere of measuring targets.
    Currently, sheathed resistance thermometer sensors are more widespread than the protection tube type; however, the protection tube type is more widespread since manufacturing is difficult and there is a limitation on costs with the sheath type.

  • Protection Tubes for Temperature Sensors

    Protection tubes for temperature sensors are used to protect temperature sensors from high-pressure, corrosion, high temperature, and other environments in various processes in various plants. Normally, the type called THERMOWELL can be attached to a piping line and others independently from temperature sensors. For each field, the design specification depends on the following destinations.

Electric Heaters

  • Micro Heaters

    Economical heaters with high reliability, which can supply heat with very quick response. The heat generating part can be bent, wounded in a coil shape, or soldered with silver alloy or cast into a metal block.

  • Sheathed Heater

    Economical sheathed heaters with high reliability, which can supply heat of high temperature, which is unavailable with conventional heaters with very quick response. The metal sheathed part can be bent, welded, soldered with silver alloy, or cast into a metal block.
